While you are at the Main Street Bed and Breakfast, you'll want to check out all the great things to do in the area.  You can spend the day at the Mammoth Cave National Park, go to the Diamond Caverns, or hike at the Nolin Lake State Park. There is plenty to do while you are visiting Glasgow, Kentucky.  Be sure and plan to stay at least a few days!

Barren River Lake and Golf

Barren River Lake is over 10,000 acres and was created by the U.S. Army of engineers in 1964. At the lake people can go biking, boating, fishing, swimming golfing and so much more,

Dinosaur World

More than 150 life-sized dinosaurs in an outdoor museum setting. Fossil dig, indoor Prehistoric Museum, unearth a life-sized dinosaur in the Boneyard, Mammoth Gardens, Movie Cave, and picnic area, playground and more.

Events on the Square

The Square in the heart of Glasgow features many events all year round. There are concerts, The Farmers Market, Sip Shop and Stroll, and The Craft Fair to name a few.

Glasgow Square Scavenger Hunt

Become a scavenger hunt super sleuth by completing 20 clues of historic sites around Downtown Glasgow Square, within walking distance of Main Street Bed and Breakfast. If you find 18 of the 20 clues you will receive a prize. A fun way to learn about Glasgow history.

Historic Plaza Theatre

A 1930s movie theatre restored to its original beauty. With stars twinkling overhead, the Plaza hosts cultural events, live concerts, plays, dance, movies and more.

Kentucky Action Park

Longest twin zip-line in Kentucky. Scenic chair lift climbs over 2,000 feet to top of a mountain. Ride down exciting 1/4 mile Alpine Slide.

Kentucky Down Under

One of Kentucky's most unique family-friendly adventure parks where you can have interactive encounters with animals from Australia, Kentucky and around the world. Pet a kangaroo. Feed rainbow lorikeets. Enjoy the horse-drawn wagon rides and bird show. Take a tour of Mammoth Onyx Cave.

South Central Kentucky Cultural Center

Housed in historic 1928 Kentucky Pants Factory. Explore the heritage of the region, historic exhibits and genealogical library.

The National Corvette Museum

At The National Corvette Museum you won't be bored for long. It has over 70 models of cars to look at and is the perfect place to visit for car lovers.

Mammoth Cave National Park

Mammoth Cave National Park is the world's longest known cave system and has more than 400 miles that have been explored. This is also how it got its name because it is so large they called it mammoth.

Diamond Caverns

While you are in town check out the Diamond Caverns they are located adjacent to Mammoth Cave National Park. This cavern is 155 years old and is one of Kentucky's most beautiful caves.

Nolin Lake State Park

Nolin Lake State Park is a great place to spend the day. Visitors can go fishing, boating, hiking, swimming, birdwatching and much more.
